J329: Today’s contract was to take a asphalt paving machine from one work site to another for Pavement Services with the Oregon Department of Transportation. At 50 tons, the paving machine was not even a workout for his 4900 with its big 600hp Detroit.
Near the end of this trip were three bridges. Each offered a unique scenic view. With a load that was relatively small compared to some huge ones he'd done before, Hal had less to worry about and was able to enjoy the view.
