S0570: Reconstruction at my cousin Britt’s dairy farm had slowed to a crawl due to funding problems. The fire almost bankrupted the farm which was in our family for generations. Trying to survive, Britt turned to the one asset she still had - dairy cows - and did the best she could. Without the cheese production operation, Vissers Dairy was reduced to its original form: milk production.
