J0253: Another day in sunny, dry California. This time I’m hauling a short container of Adirondack chairs from the port in San Diego to Wallbert’s terminal in Elko. The original route had me going northeast through Primm and Vegas, then doubling back west to Elko. Vegas is often a mess with traffic, and I didn’t like the extra miles even if it is supposed to be quicker because it’s more distance spent on interstates. I took the highway north to Santa Clarita. From here on it was back roads only
