S0468. Saskia had an idea. I wanted my own truck but could not afford to one. She suggested I see if leasing one was possible. I went to my DAF dealer in Amsterdam. I’d bought several trucks from them when I had my company, so we had a good relationship. I suspected that leasing a new one was not going to be cheaper than buying and I was right. It conferred tax advantages to the business, but one still had to have the necessary capital.
