S0400. As we passed a row of windmills I saw Brendan grin. “This is what we are here for. Aren’t they beautiful?” He told me how while working in Maine’s logging industry, he and his brother saw thousands of trees killed; incredible beauty harvested for various purposes. They understood that it was necessary, but they wanted to do something positive for the world, and windmills - tall, graceful, and creators of renewable, clean energy - were the perfect symbol for this need they felt.
