I drove from Paris to Utrecht in just a few hours. It's a bit surprising if you've driven in North America how relatively small Europe seems.

Before I was always surprised that the country can be crossed by car within a few hours ), since only the area where I was born the size of France. Not to mention the fact that the flight from one end of Russia to another may take 10-11 hours).USA distances between facilities and settlements , similar to Russia .Never dealt with the logistics , but I guess with such distances and sizes is not a simple matter.

J0038. In Europe there is no room, so plants like this are right in town, often the whole neighbourhood stinks year round. But in America there is room to put it well out of the way. While nominally in Bakersfield, the plant was over an hour drive form from the town itself. It was inconvenient for me as I was not making money while driving out there empty, but I think the plant is better placed away from settled areas.
