S0491. With daylight came the end of rain and bright, beautiful sunshine. Olive groves dotted the hillsides and my Scania rumbled along easily on the well-made Italian roads. A little later in the day, the sun again hid behind dark clouds that unleashed torrents of rain. I knew I was going to get soaked uncoupling the trailer. Worse, when I reached my destination, I knew it was going to be lucky if I could find a place to park before I was operating illegally.
